Long sessions of excoriation allowed me to develop a sensitivity to my body that inspired me to make a scroll in which I used my fingers to rub and transfer toner images of my body parts onto one continuous sheet made from 6 layers of matte medium. The repetitive motion of rubbing onto a skin-like material, became a therapeutic catharsis for me to combat this disorder.
